Bio
Dana Cory is third generation show business, growing up on the sets of various TV shows including “The Waltons”. Her comedy career began in the late 90’s with an appearance on The Alex Bennett Radio show (Live 105.3FM), when Dana amused Alex, the producers, and Emmy-winning writer, actor, comedian, and soon-to-be friend and mentor Rick Overton. Dana was invited back for more shows and a comedy career was born.
She also studied improv and stand-up comedy with Karen Ripley, is a graduate and Sunday Player alumna of BATS Improv, and been a member of or regular guest player with improv comedy troupes SNAFU, Dojo Fabuloso, and The Fibbs.
Previous to her comedy career, Dana was a professional musician (brass and voice) performing with such Bay Area favorites as Chris Isaak, Madeline Eastman, Veronica Klaus, Psychefunkapus, John Belushi Memorial Blues Band, and Lee Press-On and The Nails.
